Hellwasp
Also called Stinging Devils, or Hornet Devils, are a form of Baatezu who transform into aerial, wasp-like creatures. Stinging devils who are elevated to higher ranks within the The Infernal Beurocracy 's caste system evolve colourful markings on their abdomens which distinguish them from lower-ranked peers.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Advespa were anatomically very similar to enormous hornets, measuring around 5 to 6 feet high from tip of tail to top of head. Their chest and abdomen were covered in black, chitinous armour, as were their four double-jointed limbs. Their elongated rears end in a deadly, reusable stinger, which injects a painful and debilitating venom. Advespa have long, clear wings that allow it to fly, and four limbs that all have the same prehensnility and nimbleness as arms. Their hands are plated with chitin like the rest of their upper body, and are equipped with long, claw-like nails. Their heads are insectoid, with large compound eyes that allow multidirectional sight.
Ecology and Habitats
Hellwasps are most common in Malbolge and other warm levels of Baator. They form colonies in massive nests formed from the paste of chewed-up humanoids.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Like most devils, Hellwasps can summon fiends of lesser rank than themselves. Moreover, if killed outside Baator, they reform within the Hells.
Perhaps as an amendment to their insectoid mouths not being able to manage Infernal, Hellwasps can also use telepathy.
