Ruined Warden's Hand of Kuzlos

This temple was the sixth constructed during Nissenia's pilgrimage. It was intended to be a place of worship for the then newly forming Church of Radiant Cosmos, as well as something that connected the physical plane to that of the Wardens. The battle between Nissenia Mullinere was so devastating that the center of the island sunk along with the temple. Now it a holy site that is protected by the Church.

In the sixth year of Nissenia's Pilgrimage they set foot upon the isle of Kuzlos with the same intent they brought to the five islands before: build a great temple. Construction started the same day Nissenia and their followers made landfall, on the 1st of Kuzlensis in the 9th Year AGM. The first few months of construction were going to plan until whispers of discontent became known.   A few followers fragmented from Nissenia, having been swayed by hidden agents of the Chosen Abyss, the cult that had been slowly gaining renown and power during the pilgrimage. Those who left the following began to disrupt material gathering which put a stop on construction. The hidden agents and Church defectors were soon found and a battle took place. However, Nissenia was swift in putting an end to the chaos and construction of the temple resumed with the assumption that the cult had been beaten back from the island.   The temple was still completed on time on the 1st of Kuzlensis in the 10th Year AGM. Nissenia elevated one of her followers to the First Priest of Kuzlos and gave him domain over the temple and the other followers that would stay behind. The great Hero then left for the isle of Searin to continue their journey.   By late in the 13th Year AGM Nissenia's pilgrimage was coming to end, construction of the temple of Gyren had just completed and the First Priest of Gyren had his station. Nissenia was ready to return home after many long years, but they would not be able to rest so soon. Word of the Chosen Abyss rising again on the isle of Kuzlos had reached them but it was different. They were much stronger, growing in strength during their years in hiding, and their plot had been revealed. By the darkness of the Shadow Moons to come they would bring forth a Visage of the Abyssm to finished what it started before the Wardens intervened.   The beginning of the 14th Year AGM the final battle between Nissenia Mullinere and the Chosen Abyss took place. With the help of the First Priests, they were able to disrupt the summoning of the Visage of the Abyssm, leaving it weakened. Nissenia struck the final blow against the Visage which unleashed such a large eruption of power that the center of the island cracked and sank, bringing down the temple of Kuzlos with the rubble. Nissenia was depleted of strength and died surrounded by their First Priests.   It took months for the ruined temple to be discovered amongst the suken rubble of what was once part of the island. When it was finally found the team of exploerers were astonished that it was still in pretty good condition, so much so that the main hall and altar were still recognizable. The Church decided it would be the place that the Mullinere Chromatic Band would stay for the rest of time. The Church then constructed multiple forms of magical protection in order to keep the holy site safe.

There are only a select few within the Church of Radiant Cosmos that hold the permits allowing them to dive to ruined temple. The site is heavily protected as it also holds the body of Nissenia Mullinere. Despite this is not uncommon for the more adventurous folks to take boats to the center of the waters to try and get a look at whatever they can see below the depths.
