Zenith
A zenith was a dimensional plane, a type of realm, whose purpose was to house a god. Only accessible through carefully constructed portals, only a few mortals ever stepped foot inside a zenith realm.
Description
Zeniths varied wildly in size and content. They ranged from small buildings to vast stretches of land. Some zeniths appeared similar to the mortal world, and others were drastically different. Some aspects of a zenith seemed to depend on the level of worship of the zenith's god, though these factors varied by zenith. Though nearly all gods maintained the capability to enter the mortal world at will, zeniths were the only places in which they could not be killed. A god's safety in the mortal world depended on their number of followers and the will of those who might seek to destroy the god. Most gods only left their zeniths to more directly impose their will or settle disputes. Some gods occasionally selected mortals to, upon death, live with them in their zeniths. This arrangement would either be asked, or demanded.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
