First Shooting Company of Redoran

The First Shooting Company of Redoran was a powerful police force of the Trebai Ascendancy stationed in the city of Redoran after the Twenty-Year War. One of the most powerful non-military organizations of its time, the company was known for their use of miniature cannons and infamous for their brutality.

Structure

The head of the company was the Chief Cannoner, who was subservient to the Minister of Order Within Redoran Peak, a government official who served the Imperator of the Trebai Ascendancy. Beneath the Chief Cannoner were a number of Lieutenant Cannoners, who were in charge of squads of between ten and forty Private Cannoners. Various squads were assigned to patrol different parts of the city.

Public Agenda

Publicly, the role of the company was to be a special detachment of the city guard that served and protected the citizens of Redoran Peak via the use of firearms. Those within the government of the Trebai Ascendancy, however, had created the organization with a greater focus on controlling the citizens within the city and keeping tabs on those who spoke out against the Imperator and their administration.

Assets

As well as owning a plethora of Thunderbird and Vindicator-Class Miniature Cannons, the company was also equipped with horses, carriages, and a small number of fire wagons. Additionally, a Makovai groundwrecker, reconfigured for human use, was rumored to be in the company's possession.

History

The company was formed during the Twenty-Year War during the rise of the Trebai Ascendancy. While they did not replace the more peaceful city guard, they quickly became much more powerful.
