Erindaenug Flean

Erindaenug Flean was a Kefala tiefling who lived during the second century of the Fourth Era. Born in the largest Kefala town in the Makovai Mountains, Flean witnessed the stealing of a sacred Kefala artifact by Daphnea invaders from her homeland. She journeyed to the Sunlit Isles in 6910 in an attempt to get the artifact back, arriving there in 6911.

Early Life

Born in the Kefala town of Malang Den, Flean was the child of a family who traditionally participated in the Council of Affairs, the town's governing body. In her family, all youths were given a certain task to prove themselves as worthy before their twentieth year. Only after this was accomplished could they too join the Council of Affairs.   Traditionally, these tasks did not take place outside of Kefala lands in the Makovai Mountains. However, Flean's parents were eager to prove that their family was the most capable of all the Kefala. When Daphnea "explorers" took control of Kefala efforts to uncover the Staff of Medrevaine, and took the staff to the Sunlit Isles, Flean's family tasked her with recovering it.   This was much to the chagrin of the rest of the council, but they did not try to overturn the authority of the family. Flean herself, however, was overjoyed. A highly ambitious person, she was eager to prove her worth by recovering the staff. Taking her sibling, Hejen, along as a translator, she set out for the Sunlit Isles.

Efforts to Recover the Staff

The journey from her home in the Makovai Mountains to the city of Senoma took almost an entire year. Once there, Flean did some sleuthing and found out that the Staff of Medrevaine had been acquired by House Anaxos, a wealthy house made rich and powerful after the end of the Imperial War. It was being kept in the museum of House Anaxos.   Flean's first attempt to recover the staff did not go well, and she barely managed to escape from the museum. Following this, she realized she needed to hide, since she and Hejen were just about the only tieflings in the Sunlit Isles and were being hunted down by House Anaxos. It was at this point that she decided to hire a group of adventurers to assist her in recovering the staff. She met them while hiding on some abandoned docks outside of Senoma.
