Phryne was the bastard daughter of a nobleman in the Sunlit Isles, and from a very early age was mistreated by her father due to the fact that she was half human. Phryne eventually ran away to escape this abuse, starting a new life as the owner of a General Store in the sleepy town of Jezebel Ridge.
