School of The Viper
The School of The Viper was a witcher School located in Gorthur Gvaed in Nilfgaard. It was formed after a few witchers violently splintered off from the School of The Bear. It was dedicated to studying and defeating the Wild Hunt.
Gorthur Gvaed was destroyed by Nilfgaardians, leading to Viper witchers being scattered throughout the Nilfgaardian Empire.

Viper witchers are especially brutal with their students to prepare them for the harsh life ahead. Their fighting style emphasizes preparedness and dual-wielding.

- 11th Century: Viper School forms after splintering off from Bear School
- Early 12th Century: Viper School attacked and destroyed
- Late 12th Century: Emperor Emhyr forms an alliance with Viper witchers Letho, Serritt and Auckes to assassinate Northern leaders in exchange for rebuilding their school (which Emhyr reneges from)
Disbandment
Gorthur Gvaed was attacked and destroyed by Nilfgaardians. After Emhyr asked the Witchers to assassinate Northern leaders, many Vipers were captured or killed, hammering the final nail into the School's coffin.
