Demihuman
The combination of a mage and a human They are magic users, but not all have the ability. Contrary to what more conservative institutions will say, demihumans are not much different than their mage and human counterparts in any positive or negative way. They receive attributes from either side, for example, some demihumans have a longer life expectancy and others don’t. This applies to other physical/biological features as well.
Small-medium sized, bipedal mammal/magus consisting of a basic structure (head, neck, torso, arms, and legs) that this the same as their human counterparts. They also can vary in strength, ability, intelligence, physique, and other appearance-based characteristics.
Demihumans age and can be affected by illness and fatal injuries, but have a long lifespan varying in length, 68-150+ years. This wide range is due to being that of two different species and drawing attributes from both. They are, on average, moderately strong, but have been known to possess greater strength. If there is an object or thing they cannot lift, magic can be used to enhance their power or they'll rely on tools. They are of high intelligence and can think of complex concepts, have self-awareness, and communicate with others of similar species, but through magic, this can extend to more animals too.
Demihumans inhabit the same areas as their human counterparts, biomes that support mammalian life. They are also able to adapt to harsher environments using magic or technology.
Social creatures that tend to stay in groups occupying both mage and human villages, towns, cities, and nations, following the customs of their environment.
Demihumans are of high intelligence and self-awareness. Because of their intelligence and inherited ability, they are able to not only use tools, but magic for basic to complex functions. They are also capable of complex thinking and communication. Although similar, the biggest difference between humans and demihumans is being a spellcaster.
