Assault Rifle
The assault rifle category includes all firearms or weapons capable of shooting bullets or other type of ammunition with an inner barrel longer than 15cm but shorter enough to not be used as a precision weapon. Some exceptions are made, most of the time if the gun does not work with bullet ammunition or has similar characteristics, it can be included in this category, as it is made for multi use weaponry.
Examples of assault rifles in our world are: M416, AK47 and Scar.
Examples in The Colossuss Galaxy are: DR, D6 and Apr.
