Broodmothers Claw

A "Broodmothers Claw" is a small sickle generally used by followers of the green dimension in rituals.
The broodmothers mandible is construced like a kama, with a straight handle and a blade perpendicularly attached to it, slightly angling towards the hand. The blade of the Broodmothers Mandible is made of a black material, with grooves running along the blade thinning into the point of the blade. The handle of the Broodmothers claw is made from a similar black material. The shaft flares out at each end into a round know - the overall shape reminds the wielder of a bone. Generally the shaft has streaks of strange, usually pulsing green material embedded into it.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

When used in the intended way, the claw can be used to carve small tears between the human world and the green dimension. These are usually visible as rapidly fading rips, as if the claw had ripped through a strong piece of fabric, but floating in mid air. These rifts tend to glow in green colors, being more vibrant at the edges and becoming a deep green in the center of these rifts.
