Additional Informations
Experience
- Experience is primarily gained from posts. You level up by talking and RP-ing in chat; the more you talk, the more you level up. (server boosters gain a slight boost)
- The bot counts the number of characters in your message to award the appropriate amount of EXP.
- EXP is still rewarded in threads.
- EXP is still rewarded when you use Tupperbot for your characters.
- We use RPXP Holder as our EXP bot.
- To eliminate the need for alts, you can index a character’s separate XP gain with this bot. Indexes run 1-3, and every player will have a role showing their active character’s index. Basically, you can use arrows to switch between characters. Just click "Set" when you are ready to gain EXP on this character, and the bot will do the rest.
- REMINDER: The bot will NOT switch which character is active on Avrae, while you can !import all of them on the same account, you still need to run !char NameOfCharacter to switch between sheets.
- To check your level and access the Character Index, go to the "Level Up Character" channel and run /xp. It will, however, only be seen by you. If you want the Character Index to be public to show other players, toggle "Public: True" with the command.
- You may level your character up to the level shown using /xp but you do not have to take the level every time you level up if you do not want to. Consider this your "Maximum level."
- After you get the ping to level up, go into your character sheet and level up appropriately. Once this is complete, come back to the bot spam channel and use !update to sync your sheet to your server, then use !lr to take your long rest and have your changes take effect. Additionally, use !level to set up your hit dice and class-specific counters.

- Evil characters are allowed, but must go through what we call the "Evil Questionnaire". It is a set of questions asked by a moderator about your character to be sure it will not cause you problems. You may also be given a few tips and information about how to play them without issues.
- Any character choices you make, actions you take, or content you claim to be your own must be a product of your own creativity and not a direct copy of another player or property (this includes irl celebrities, historical figures, and locations).
