Matheral Solarsong
Born in the city of Stremberthal to the noble house of Solarsong, Matheral was very charismatic even as a child. As a young child Matheral attended the performance of a production company and instantly knew his calling in life. He asked for a lute for his next birthday and was delighted when he got one well before along with private lessons. Matheral's parent spared no expense on the instrument or the music teacher. Matheral proved a natural and quickly progressed in his musical aptitude, he began writing his own songs after only three months of lessons and his first public performance after five months of playing. Inspired by his musical talents and wanting to create more intricate songs Matheral began reading almost as much as he practiced his lute. He would read tales of heroes and villains that travelled Traith in the age's past. One of his most popular songs is an ode to the dragons of legend.
Matheral's parents wanted him to go to the university in Stremberthal and further study classical styles of music, but Matheral heart was in a different place he wanted one of two things, either attend the Bards college in Stremberthal and/or two leave Stremberthal and explore Traith. He wanted nothing more than to experience the places he had read about throughout his youth and to be able to put them properly into song. The preferable option for him was Bards college first and then see the world. He figured having a few extra skills up his sleeve would prove helpful in future travels. Reluctantly Matheral's parents agreed, and he began attending the Bards college soon after. His parents biggest concern was Bards use of arcane magic which was banned in several regions of the world.
After only two semesters Matheral had completed all of his base bard studies and was deemed capable of field work. He met a group travelling from Brisckarin on the continent of Toroum to the city of Atepthilar capital of Tepth.
