These are settlements that house the souls of those that have departed from the Material Plane. Soulwards can be in many locations and are usually governed by certain gods or Demi-gods. These settlements usually are a distinct realm where souls journey after death, each characterized by the unique attributes and personality of the governing deity, reflecting the values and experiences of that divine being, with potential rewards or punishments based on one's deeds in the material realm, often mirroring the aesthetics and environment associated with the god's domain.
