Thul
They say that when the world was made the colours ran out by the time Thul was formed. A land of brutal winds and icy tundra for most of the year, the grey skies seem almost to be a warning that Death has made a home there. Famed for the Necropolis, the Citadel of the Dead, where the plague of deathless rot once threatened to ravage the world. Now half buried beneath rock and soil, the Necropolis has become a popular tourist spot.
Despite its sordid history of dark magic, Thul is home to one of the Great Universities, Libraries, and a fiercely defended dedication to free speech that has lead to many activists and philosophers flocking there.
