The Age of Horror

No one knows what the world of Aeridos was like before the Fae Courts and Demon Hordes brought their Eternal War to its lands. It is unknown if it had its own people that were wiped out, or what its original flora and fauna were like. For hundreds of years the land that would eventually be called the Elderlands was nothing more than a gameboard that Fae and Demon moved their pieces about. Not much in the way of records from this time exists until the birth of Aeridos's magic and the arrival of dragons, the two weapons that allowed the slave armies of the Fae and Demons to rebel and seal Aeridos away from the mystical corridors the two ancient races used to travel between their conquored worlds.
