Orethes

Home to the shapeshifter clans of Wyldscin, Orethes is the largest country in the Elderlands comprised mostly of desert, grassland, and some bordering woodland. Wyldscin hail to no capital, and are fiercely competitive between clans. Most clans are broken down into nomadic smaller groups called packs, pards, and cackles. There is a single city in the desert they call Dekad nal Khan (Red-Seat-in-the-Desert) that was erected around a deep oasis during a great drought. The Red Rock pack of the Painted Dog clan controls the city, but works closely with representatives from other clans as the city becomes a refuge to anyone who needs shelter during the brutal summer months.
