Aeridos Calendar
The most common calendar used on Aeridos is the Taylon calendar, named for notable elven astronomer Taylo Dewflower who charted the stellar bodies that made the creation of the calendar possible. A standardized system for trade between kingdoms was proposed during the the second Summit of Kings at the Council of Whiterun.
An Aeridos year (or sun-round as the elves describe) has thirteen months. Twelves months have thirty days, while the short thirteen month has five with an additional day given every four years. This thirteenth month is called the Turn, and while elves used it as a time of contemplation, many other cultures see it as a time for celebration as the cold of the Wind Season fades and the warmth of the Water Season returns to the world as the New Year begins.

Wyldscin (seasonal)
The Wyldscin of Orethes follow three seasons: Abundance, Storms, and High Heat. Temperatures during High Heat can swiftly kill, so nomadic packs and other travelers return to a home territory during this time. Only fools are caught unprepared by the High Heat however, any Wyldscin can tell you that the season of storms is where true danger lies. A particularly bad year can lead to rising waters that happen so fast, that dens can flood and drown everyone within. When you spot the danger of the waters, it is already too late.
“A fool falls to the sun, but even the wisest may be caught by the storms.” - Wyldscin ProverbSerpentine (solar) The calendar has thirteen months, seven weeks in a month, and traditionally four days in a week. There is an extra day at the end of the year. Some argue for a change to an eigth day week to align a little closer with the Taylon Calender. The Folk who follow the Serpentine calender generally follow rituals or tasks that must be performed during specific months. For example, the 'Cleanse' month is to be used to clean house, fast, and mend. After 'Cleanse' comes 'Forage', where fishing or hunting becomes a priority. The folkland during the month of 'Market' has become a very popular time for tourism, as the capitals and surrounding villages decorate and are overrun with market goers eager to sample foods, wares, and observe traditional singing and dancing.
"Sometimes a spirit is just a rock in one's way." - Troll ProverbPa'Oria (lunisolar) The Pa'Orian calendar is close to the Taylon other than a difference in names, and festivals. However, they designate years by the reign of the current King. The post-civil war designation is "Black".
