Cybertronian
Sentient, sapient lifeforms from the planet Cybertron. Cybertronians resemble large, mechanical humans; though their size (and resemblance to human beings) can vary.
As directed by an internal organ known as the "T-Cog," Cybertronians can reconfigure their bipedal forms into transport modes with secondary functions, known interchangeably as an Alternate Mode, altmode, or vehicle mode.
By reformatting their bodies, a Cybertronian can resemble an Earth vehicle while in their alternate mode, thus giving them a convenient disguise.
