COMPLETE Chapter 4: Trespassers

Scene 1: Locating the Trespassers   The party's only lead is that the Speedwagons are somewhere in the Back Alley.   If they ask Dealer-   Dealer: I've never heard of Speedwagons. Who are you?   If they go to Moonshot's-   Moonshot: Look, I see a lot of folks in here but none of them were with the Speedwagons.   If they go to Dancitron-   Brownie: I keep an eye on everyone who comes in here, and none of them match your description. Sorry.   However, at Brownie's bar they find a worried patron, Volt, who seems on edge.   Volt: I've got nothing to say to you. Just leave me alone.   (If pressed)   Volt: No way. I'm not saying anything. Back off.   If pressed further, Volt will fight the players. He's not very strong.   (After defeat)   Volt: No, no, please! I'm the... I'm the only one who knows! If I tell you... and you find them... I die.   Volt: They... they're up against the northern wall. I had an argument with a... patron here, and needed to leave to cool off. That's where I saw them, in the Speedwagon colors, all but one of them, huddled around, digging a hole. I didn't see much more before the bigger one looked my way. I tried running but he caught me, and told me exactly what he would do if I told anyone. I came back here and I've been trying to, ah, calm myself down.   Scene 2: Digging a Hole   If the party then heads for the described location, they will find the hole, but no Speedwagons. If they enter the hole, they will find a tunnel (draw a map). Once deep inside the tunnel, the Speedwagons will reappear, blocking their escape. They are led by Longroof.   Longroof: Well, did you find what you were looking for? I hope so. Otherwise, this little field trip really isn't going to be worth it for you.   The battle between the party and the Speedwagons ensues. When low on health, Longroof will flee.   Longroof: I'll catch you around. I've got a visit to pay.
