Session 93: New Crescendo Aftermath

Cedric, Busiris, Syr'Cap, Tanozall, and Tarksson travel to New Crescendo, leaving the ship about a day's travel south of the city. They arrive, and find the city is very quiet, with few people wandering around at night. Symbols of Illuven are marked on many doorways. Tanozall and Syr'Cap go to the Temple of Daestrus, and nearly get into a fight with some Death Hands. One of the Death Hands uses a spell that turns undead, which sends Tanozall in a panic, running away, which he interprets as Daestrus being disgusted by him, but also confirming that Daestrus is real, which makes him happy. Cedric and the others head to the Temple of Yenna, where they put Karlt to rest, discover the temple has had their own issues with various demons, as has the rest of the city, and introduce them to Toan, Tarksson's brother, who has been through a lot.   Tarksson and Toan meet up with Quinn, who promises them enough men to help sail their ship, but says he needs a week to do it. They discuss Venumbra and Tarksson's companions, and Quinn tells them to watch and wait, and report back to him.   Cedric goes to Meryl's place, and finds that Meryl is a religious leader, with an incredible amount of magical power....
