Conductor / Conductress
The Conductor / Conductress title is bestowed upon the leaders of the High Elves of New Crescendo and the Wood Elves of Sonopra.
Qualifications
In New Crescendo, the oldest Elf alive is considered Conductor, as it is assumed they are the wisest and most experienced.
In Sonopra a Conductor is voted in by the leaders of all of the clans. They tend to look for someone who will represent them and their interests well as a whole.
Accoutrements & Equipment
In New Crescendo a crown is grown for the Conductor, which he or she will be buried with upon death. In Sonopra the title is tattooed across the side of their scalp, where the hair is shaved.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
In New Crescendo this has never been done, so there is no policy for it. In Sonopra this can basically be done anytime if the clans lose faith in the Conductress.
Notable Holders
The First Conductor of New Crescendo was Veris, the High Elf who founded New Crescendo and lifted the floating city Orchestria.
