Akashic Record
The Akashic Record is a relatively unknown demiplane nestled deep into the swirling patterns of the Astral Plane, which is said to hold a psychic record of all events in the multiverse. It is the subject of a number of occult writings, although few have ever claimed to have actually been there, as the journey is almost impossible for a mortal, and even less so for anyone with less than a legendary mastery of magic.
Some occultists believe that the Gap was caused by damage to the Akashic Record, although this has never come even close to being proven, and is considered a myth at best.
