The emperor lead an army out of the Mountains of Shadow 30 years ago. His horde of berserker warriors and central phalanx of dragon knights, armed with weapons made from a new, silvery metal, quickly over ran the armies of the cities of the plain. As the cities were disunited they quickly fell one by one, unable or unwilling to come to each other's aid. less than 5 years later he came to the gates of Capital and entered the halls of the Father, sitting upon the ancient throne. In the intervening years he has put forward the claim that he is desended from the lost daughter of the family, Okhinde. He has sent out priests and learned men to convince and convert the populace to this new Imperial Cult.
