The cavern, also known as: Mathelkup, Leseri, The Wandering World The Wandering World

Wanderer, take heed!

I’ve explored all manner of claustrophobics and arbordoms, but none have ever known me so well. When I wake up I can feel the mineral dew mixing with the sleep in my eyes, and telling me how I feel like one of those novelty color changing rings, except it’s true. The sorrow rain is just one of the numerous unique happenings which occur in this cavern, and beyond that you really ought to see the people of these lands.

Bat folk and automatons, living statues and brass beasts. To think that I believed only humankind held such intellectual capacity is only evidence that I have more to learn. Why, I thought at one point that dolphins were our seconds, but to find equals is so much more of a magnificent thing! Albeit, there is some debate as to whether the automatons think for themselves or not.

I won’t get caught up in the details for too long though, you’re reading this because you want to know what is in this grand ground (it isn’t an underground, there is no surface to speak of). You, dear reader, are wandering through the most unique and inexplicable world you’ll have ever set foot upon, perhaps because this is only the second world you’ve ever existed in! I challenge you to visit each corner of this place, and write what you see there, but before you do so, heed my warning. Do not go farthest north, do not go farthest south, and please if you value pristine skin, do not leave only one light on in the dark.
