DEFILE: Crow's Attempt to Weasel Information

"No, I can't give you any information on the inner working of the thieves guild, bird brain! That would defile the thieves code and get me targeted, or at least banned. At a minimum, if my family found out, they wouldn't ever let me live it down," Piklok explains while shoving Crow away with force. "Just because you know I'm one doesn't make me a go-between for you."

"There's something big going on, Piklok," Crow pleads. "It's going to affect the whole kingdom, including you and your family. You feel a duty to protect them, right?"

"Get your information elsewhere, Crow! Don't drag me down into something big with you. I'm small-time, anyhow. I don't ever learn much. Get your puppet there to read somebody's mind, or whatever it is that she does. I don't owe you nothing! Where's your pixie fox anyhow? Can't she cast some charm or something?"
