Ansel is very tall, standing at 6'4". He is toned and athletic and appears healthy except for the telltale darkish circles under his eyes that suggest a lack of sleep.
He has a thin, well-healed, old scar cut across the left of his mouth from top to bottom that is mostly covered by a chinstrap beard.

He learned the "three R's," reading, 'riting, and 'rithmatic, along with basic survival, land navigation, and things forbidden to non-nobles.

Ansel works for himself as a sneak thief, stealing from the Caste and giving it to the poorest in the slums behind the Joe and the Little Ceaser's Arena - a dystopian Robin Hood, if you will.
Despite wanting to help those in need, Ansel's strongest desire is to beat the Caste at their own game, using their own technology against them.
