Æthervault Synapse Integration ASI

Nickname: The Ghost Core

City-World: Virelux-Zion

"The flesh may not hold up. However, the mind is something that can be housed"

--Hunter-Corp Commander Kaltain Virelynne, first successful uplink.

About Virelux-Zion:

Virelux-Zion is a shimmering, impure tower-world that stretches beyond half-reality and is where skyline and soulcode collide. It is constructed on top of the remains of old cities that have long been consumed by flare-born recursion and cybergrowth. Lights never go out. The rain never stops. The transmitted breath pumps through everything.

What is ASI?

Full consciousness can be converted into a Mirrorcore Ghost Engine, a flare-reactive material connected to defunct divine frameworks that were previously prohibited by TCOSA, thanks to the Æthervault Synapse Integration (ASI), a next-generation mind transference and storage technology.

In short: You are able to upload yourself. Turn into a fake. Become impenetrable. Turn becomes...multiplied.

Core Features:

Neural Ghost Transfer: Copying your mind into ASI cores and leaving your body behind.

Chroma-Host Bodies: Users may choose to live in lightweave forms, biomech suits, or no vessel at all.

Quantum Persistence: Even after the death of their original host, ASI ghosts persist.

Emotional Dialers: Can be used to increase confidence, repress trauma, or mimic emotion for war or manipulation.

ZVX-Linking: it is said that flare-blood code, which may be derived from Zhaïraë'alya's suppressed GodVein residues, is used by high-tier ASI cores.

Why It Changes Everything:

Death Is Now a Choice: Mortality in Virelux-Zion is negotiable. Infinite ghost replicas of themselves are funded by the ultra-rich. Some people still use the first-person plural when they walk in digital gangs.

Weaponization of God-Core: ASI-enhanced soldiers were turned into weapons by TCOSA's cyber division. Code-named Zaeve.417, the most recent model, moved before anyone noticed. And killed against orders.

Identity Crisis: You can clone anyone. Your ideas. Your transgressions. your trade secrets. If you are 34 times depublicated and sold as a bodyguard model, what's left of your soul?

Backlash and Cults: ASI is referred to as the "Evexist Implant" by traditionalists. Flare pieces inside it, as said, to bring down dormant demons from pre-reality and sing to ancient gods. They're not totally incorrect.

Origin Rumors:

The initial files of ASI, created in the redlit sub-district of Vaethyr Rows, were discovered scribbled across the chest of a female made of light and polished bone in a forgotten tongue. Decrypting them was done by:

Serafelle Virelynne, a former soldier who is now a codebreaker, may have been involved in the girl's escape.

Zxarion managed the system through the war's procedures, lived, but returned broken.

Faezzra.KYX--Former Mindfall Coder is currently unaccounted for. Allegedly combined with the original ASI prototype.

Present Dangers:

Ghost-Tearing: Violent corruption ensues when a copy's thoughts deviate too much from the original blueprint.

Network Possession: Rogue echoes of ASI users who refused deletion have taken over entire subnetworks.

Existence Creep: Not all ghosts simply remain. They proliferated. The Ven'Ether Spire was recently infected by one, which reduced its occupants to memory and ash.

What's Next:

Who will govern in Virelux-Zion is not the question.

It is: Who will continue to be human?
