Emperor Bealdwin is a madman who claims to speak on behalf of God Himself. Even if he is crazy, Bealdwin is a genius tactician and social manipulator. He ascended to the throne at the young age of seventeen and waged war against all of Aewith, launching a crusade against Nharuum, Nethylor, Tarhun and Nordania. Since then, he's transformed the island nation into the largest empire on Gaian.

Personal history
Born as an illegitimate child, Bealdwin was never publicly embraced by his father, but his grandfather King Aelfhere I and his mother raised him in the art of kingcraft and strategy. Since he was young, he showed an aptitude for mind games and critical thinking. After Aelfhere died and his father, Hundine III rose to power, the new king was quickly assassinated by a cult that had deeply infiltrated the court. Bealdwin allied himself with the cult and took the crown out from under his siblings. The Church of the Great Primordial God, the cult that helped him so, was made the state religion. Bealdwin then went to wage war of Aewith. He has completely conquered Tarhun and many other countries and causes the other nations to dwindle.
