The Buried Lands

In The Buried Lands, the world is a tapestry woven with ancient mysteries and enduring legacies. At the heart of this ancient realm lies Eryndel, the largest and most renowned of the continents. Its sprawling landscapes and diverse terrains have been shaped by millennia of history and the divine touch of its creator. The tale of creation begins with Sikius, the celestial god who is said to have awoken from a timeless slumber to forge the world. As the first being to set foot in this nascent land, Sikius's arrival marked the dawn of existence. His influence is woven into the very fabric of The Buried Lands, and his presence is felt in countless ways across the continents.     Upon awakening, Sikius observed the void and, with a mere thought, began to mold the raw essence of the cosmos. Mountains rose from the earth, rivers carved their paths through the land, and oceans spread their vast blue reaches. Flora and fauna emerged, each species a testament to his divine creativity. Sikius himself is said to have breathed life into the world, imbuing it with both wonder and complexity.     Eryndel, as the centerpiece of this creation, is a continent of striking contrasts. Its northern reaches are dominated by icy tundras and towering glaciers, while its southern regions boast lush, verdant jungles teeming with exotic life. Central Eryndel features sprawling plains and fertile valleys, the cradle of many of its greatest civilizations. This land has been the site of legendary battles, the rise and fall of empires, and the development of advanced cultures and technologies.
