Werewolf's cloak

Druids and shamans can use their mystical powers to turn men into Werewolves. However, not all want to go through this transformation, which is permanent and usually dangerous for them and their surroundings. As an alternative, for those unwilling to undergo the ritual, enchanted cloaks are for use by warriors in the middle of battle.

Created from the hide of a Terror Wolf, the cloak can be activated in the middle of combat by donning its wolf-head shaped hood where upon it will cling to a user like a second skin and turn them into a pseudo-werewolf temporarily.
They gain increased strength, speed, amplified senses and ferocity, as a werewolf does, though they do not get a werewolf's regeneration. Additionally, if they get injured, the cloak that now serves as their second skin does not repair, and if damaged too much will undo the transformation entirely. The cloak can also have unpredictable effects if worn over armor.
Still, these cloaks are highly desired by many warriors for their simplicity, easy of use and sheer power, even if they are somewhat disposable.

Appearance

Werewolf cloaks look mostly like ordinary wolf pelt cloaks, Terror wolf cloaks are popular if expensive. It is only once you notice that the hood is made of the wolf's head and that the inside is stitched with runes and painted with arcane ointments that the cloak's nature becomes obvious.
