"Queen of Hearts" is the nickname given to the leader of the Gita Cartel, a powerful trading cartel from .
The Gita Cartel, which while it engages in the trade of rare and exotic goods across the planet, is most well known for maintaining a network of brothels across the major cities of Haven. The queen of hearts in turn is seen as a ruthless trader of flesh and vice, though her enterprises are notoriously ignored by law-enforcement.

The Truth:
Queen of Hearts uses her brothels not only as a source of income but as a source of a far more valuable currency; Information. The queen's girls cozy up to powerful people, share their bedchambers and listen to their woes and worries, only to then pass the gained knowledge up the chain where eventually the queen of hearts can use the knowledge to gain favorable trade deals, use it as blackmail to get what she wants or otherwise manipulate events from behind the scenes.

The Queen's network is vast, extending beyond her brothels into mercenary groups and regular businesses; her local agents and representatives have a lot of autonomy when it comes to managing their branch of the queen's business, but their loyalty is unchallenged as most are the queen's daughters.
There is at all times fierce competition among the branches for the favor of the Queen of hearts, for the most favoured will inherit her title and ownership of the Gita Cartel should the current queen die.

Ezma El-Gita, the current queen of hearts, is using the Gita Cartel with one goal in mind; achieving immortality. She must keep this goal secret or she risks the loyalty of her daughters that seek to one day succeed her
