Nindros
"Nindros is the end of things. One day, it will swallow the universe."Divine Rank: Greater Deity
Alternate Names: The Maw of Oblivion, The Grasping Dark
Primary Authority: Destruction
Secondary Authorities: Hunger, Gravity, Infinity
Description:
Nindros is the embodiment of annihilation and oblivion. It is the end, the final destination, the end of the cycle. All it wants is to devour the universe, one small bit at a time. Any bit of matter or energy it manages to consume is gone forever, never to be returned to the The Dance of the Worlds. It ultimately wishes to devour everything, and only the prison containing it prevents it from achieving that goal as soon as possible.
The Maw of Oblivion is exceedingly simple, despite its vast power, it has no aspirations or ambitions beyond feeding its endless hunger.
But one would do well to remember that Nindros is not stupid, merely exceedingly patient. It has already won, the universe is merely running out the clock until its final breath.
Followers:
Nindros does not inspire faith, does not build communities, it is an entity of destruction. As such, it does not build long-lasting churches or cults, its worshipers are mostly solitary practitioners or small groups.Cultists of Nindros are usually not particularly faithful or zealous, merely invoking the Maw of Oblivion as a source of power to destroy their enemies. Nindros makes this easy for them, it does not ask for complicated rituals or horrific acts, only to feed its maw with whatever is at hand. As such it offers an easy path to power for any aspiring battle-mage and power-hungry adept.
Followers of Nindros are above all other things reckless, not recognizing or not caring about the danger it represents, and that every time its powers are used brings the end of the universe one step closer.
Followers of Nindros are actively hunted by the Mechanoids and the Servants of the Great Plan. Feeding the maw too much attracts their notice and invokes their wrath, which is one of the only reason Nindros' powers are not in the arsenal of every ruthless battle-mage.
Clerical mandates:
Mandate of HungerFeed yourself, Feed the Abyss, Embrace oblivion. Priests of Nindros feel a slowly increasing hunger, that they must sate by feeding the Maw of Oblivion. Luckily it eats anything, so most just regularly feed it some rocks or trees.

Appearance:
Uniquely among greater deities, Nindros' appearance is very consistent, being depicted as little more than a massive mass of pitch black darkness swallowing everything.
