Unfortunately, if an ambitions scholar forgets the time, they might find themselves becoming a deranged lunatic browsing the same tomes continually, unable to retain the knowledge, yet unaware of that fact. There are far too many horror-stories and cautionary tales associated with such a seemingly innocuous item.

This circlet of silver and steel, inlaid with riftstone is a very simple item, usually the first item a sorcerous apprentice creates.It is capable of producing light at the command of the user.
