Human Essence Doll

The Human Essence Doll was created by an ancient and malicious Witch, to torment the humans of haven as a revenge for the persecution of the witches.
I was designed out of hatred to harm and torment and it does that purpose well.

Description:

The Human Essence Doll is a humanoid doll of soft clay about the size of a human palm. When not in use, it is featureless. The clay of the doll is malleable and if severed, the doll grows the missing clay back while the severed part rapidly dissipates into dust.

Abilities:

When a creature becomes the Human essence doll's owner, they learn its properties.

The Human Essence doll can be cut open and a part of a living humanoid (such as hair, blood or fingernails) can be inserted into its chest cavity. The Part of the humanoid in question must be no older than 3 days. Once the clay is re-applied over the part, the doll takes on the physical appearance of the humanoid in question, in miniature, down to the most minute details. It breathes, its heart beats, its blood flows in an exact replica of the linked target. If the target takes wounds, they appear on the doll. If clothing or other items are applied or removed from the target, they appear/disappear on the doll as well.

From that point onward, anything done to the doll is done to the living human as well. Breaking its limbs breaks the limbs of the target, setting it on fire sets the target on fire. Adding things or items to the Doll does not make them appear on the target, but their effects do.
This item can be used in a variety of cruel and deadly ways. Some examples of how it can be used include:

• Filling the doll's pockets with gold coins will make the target feel as if they were weighed down by a great weight, with no increase in weight being apparent.
• Piercing the Doll with a needle will create a spontaneous piercing injury in the same way as the doll was wounded. (the wound will also bleed as if there was a physical object blocking the wound until the needle is removed from the doll)
• Setting the doll on fire will set the target on fire with a fire that can not be extinguished until the doll is extinguished.
• Tightly wrapping the doll's chest will restrict the target from breathing properly.

A Linked Target no longer dreams. Instead, while it is asleep, it sees out of the eyes of the Human Essence Doll. Immobile, breathing and doing nothing else. The Target can see and hear out from the doll with its normal senses.

This link can only be broken via three ways:

• The target dies and is not resurrected before a new target is selected.
• A rituali of exorcism is used on the Human Essence Doll.
• The Human Essence Doll is destroyed.

If the linked target dies, the Human Essence Doll dissolved into dust and reappears somewhere on Haven in the possession of an evil person that is likely to use it.

Destroying the Item:

The Human Essence Doll can be destroyed if tossed into the pit of Sedulon. Destroying the item in this way also destroys the linked Target.
Alternatively it can be given to a high-ranking Angel, who will happily Burn the doll in holy radiance. Destroying the Artifact in this way does not destroy the linked target.
