Gallican Crown Jewels

The Gallican Crown Jewels are the badges of office of the Gallican Monarch.

The Saphire crown

The Saphire crown is a gold circlet inset with large saphires. It gives its owner protection from magic and an aura of authority.
It also gives the wearer divine wisdom and knowledge of the gods, old and new.

The Phoenix Cloak

The Phenox Cloak is a gilded collar with a long red cloak of what seems like silk draping behind it.
The cloak is however made of elemental fire, rather than any mundane cloth. If the wearer is ever wounded, the cloak will set itself ablaze and heal its wearer's wounds, burning its material from the edges as it does so.
If it is used to heal too many wounds, the cloak will burn itself up entirely, leaving only the collar.
The cloak slowly reforms if the collar is placed in a roaring fireplace.

The Onyx Hammer

This is a one-handed warhammer of Adamantium, mounted on a handle of black ebony wood.
Despite being a one-handed weapon, it is so heavy that most people need 2 hands to wield it.
It is heavily enchanted and is excellent at smashing things, especialy walls, doors and bones.

History

The Saphire crown is a relic of ancient humanity from before the War of Burning Skies. During the crowning of Magnus Athala the first, he claimed this magical item as the rightful badge of office of the Gallica royalty.

The Gallican crown jewels were expanded with the onyx hammer after the council of magnola to celebrate the victory of gallica against the Jotnar.

Finally the crown jewels were expanded once more with the Phoenix cloak by Magnus Athala IV after the Gallican Civil war. The cloak was given to him as a sign of favor by the clergy of Vulcan and was added to the crown jewels as a sign of the importance that the various priesthoods would hold in this new era.
