Bogenhafen

Bogenhafen is the Lionel County's Largest settlement.
The city is located on an important trade route alongside Sweetlake. It is the major Port city of south-east Gallica and so a lot of money flows through the city.
Bogenhafen is known for the rampant ciminality which plagues the city.

Points of Interest

Bogenhafen Harbor: The Bogenhafen Harbor is vast, it receives a lot of valuable goods everyday, from Ravil, Jushain and even far off Scyjia. The trade goods are sold, unloaded and stored in large rented warehouses, that are in turn prime targets for the city's criminal elements and either pay the protection rackets or risk being robbed.
The city's harbor also includes one of the largest wharfs on the continent. Anything from small shoals to full sized galleons are regularly produced and sold here and at risk of the same protection racket.

Shipbreakers: Bogenhafen's harbor is equipped with a series of towers out in the water. Between these towers on the seafloor are a series of chains that can be tightened in case of an invasion. The chains then hang just under the water's surface and tear any ship trying to sail through them apart like shallow cliffs.

The Ruby Dragon Casino: The Ruby Dragon is a large and famous casino in Bogenhafen. It is however not only famous for depriving patrons of their wealth but also it's an open secret that the Ruby Dragon is a front for the largest criminal organization in the city: the Red Empire. Nothing criminal happens here, but if somebody needs to get in contact with them, here is where the uninformed go.

Tilted Alley: This Alley is a street in Bogenhafen that has more than 10 bars, taverns and inns along its length. It is a local challenge to walk down the entire alley, ordering the strongest drink in each establishment. few succeed, though some of the local alcoholics take pride in the fact that they do.

Grendels Territory: Grendel is a mysterious entity that has claimed part of Bogenhafen as its "Territory". It haunts the streets and kills any criminals in a truly terrifying display of brutality and then consumes them. Innocents however, are spared. Grendel has endured for more than 20 years of city guards and mercenaries attempting to kill it. None have succeeded. Contracts are still open by city leadership to either kill the beast or to at least find out more about it.

Bogenhafen sewers: Bogenhafen is a city large enough that the city leadership has built a truly massive sewer system underneath the city. The sewers are used extensively to smuggle illicit goods into and out of the city, as well as being filled with ambush locations, traps and of course human waste. The guards hesitate to enter the sewers alone.

Silver Sword Mercenary Guild: While not exceptionally large considering the city's size, the silver sword mercenary guild is a focal point for dirty work for miles around. They are often contracted to keep the trade caravans leaving for sweetlake safe, or guarding cargo while it is in the harbor.
