Bloodgem Amulet

Bloodgem amulets are made by Blood Mages. As there are few blood mages outside of Scyjia, these amulets are very expensive outside of Scyjia.
Particularly they are made from concentrated life essence, usually from hundreds or even thousand of individual donations of life-force.

Bloodgem amulets strengthen the vigor and constitution of their wearer. They thusly make them hardier, enhance their stamina and their resistance to diseases and poisons. They are said to 'give the constitution of an ogre', which is not wholly inaccurate.

As the amulet is used continually, the bloodgem that makes it up gradually shrinks and is used up. These items are thus disposable and a great income source for the Scyjian blood mages.
