Contract Judge
Contract Judges are the foremost authorities and enforcers of contract terms, conditions, and results in the city and region of Mount Mouraine.
They are responsible for overseeing the creation and empowerment of magical contracts in the city.
Judges are specially trained and given access to the Foundation Contract and its Pillars which allows them to channel the magic necessary to empower contracts upon creation and to enforce their terms.
Contract Judges also serve as judges in the traditional sense when it comes to handling disputes between contracts or the signees on contracts.
They arbitrate and hand out rulings when the terms or result of a contract comes into dispute. The powers they wield through the Foundation and Pillars allows them to magically read into the nature of a contract and modify outcomes to end a dispute.

Qualifications
Judges require a high level of education and experience in the creation, drafting, and empowerment/enforcement of contracts. Though not typically taught publicly, even in Mount Mouraine, there are schools and universities dedicated to these lessons. The certification for a school or program to be qualified to educate students to become judges are directly handed down from the Mouraine family, and therefore very exclusive.
Career Progression
During their education an aspiring Contract Judge typically works for a contract creating organization. They start out working with the city guard or enforcers researching the breaking and enforcement of contract law. Then they move on to working as proteges or apprentices of Contract Masters where they develop skills on the creating and drafting of contracts. Then they move on to the understudy of a established Contract Judge in the final months or years of their education. Once graduated they must pass a series of tests and take oaths before being empowered with their duties. They then progress through a tier system where they handle different types and levels of contracts. Upon attaining the required amount of experience they are considered a Judge Superior, the highest level of contract Judge.

The first Contract Judges were the Mouraine Family themselves. Over time their followers and adherent were taught how to Judge contracts themselves when the number of contracts became unmanageable by the family.

The only standard equipment for Judges are special badges. These badges give Judges access to the facilities and rooms which house the Pillars. They are also used as a focus for the Judges to channel power from the Pillars in order to handle contract work.
