Vampire
Vampires are shrouded in myth and legend, often portrayed as the archetypal monsters of the night. However, much of their reputation is based on fiction rather than fact. While vampires cannot withstand direct sunlight for more than a few seconds and require blood for sustenance, many other supposed weaknesses, such as garlic, crosses, and wooden stakes, are mere folklore.
Vampires possess the Arcane Background (Gifted) with Shape Change, allowing them to transform their appearance at will. They also have Low Light Vision, enabling them to see clearly in dimly lit environments, and the Burrowing ability, which allows them to move through subterranean spaces with ease.
Despite their supernatural nature, vampires are very much alive and have the same basic needs as other living beings. While they do require blood to survive, they can feed on animals and even have a preference for blood substitutes like ketchup. However, their dependency on blood is a crucial aspect of their existence, and they must feed regularly to maintain their vitality.
Vampires also possess a Secret hindrance, as their true nature as vampires can be easily hidden. However, once revealed, others become wary of them, potentially complicating their interactions within society.
In the underground world of Big Apple Sewer Samurai, vampires navigate a delicate balance between their supernatural abilities and the prejudices of those around them, often concealing their true nature while seeking to satisfy their primal needs in secret.
