Fikrana Steelview
Bosun
Fikrana is the female, dwarven Bosun of The Smokestreak, an Imperial scouting vessel.
She is responsible for repair, maintenance and upgrades to the ship, which she talks to as though it is a young child.
Originally from the mountain city of Dhan Bholdar on the island of Lost Hope, Fikrana left the settlement at a young age. It is most unusual for members of this clan to leave their war-torn homeland, but whispers say that her family had to flee in shame and fear for their lives.
Appearance and Mannerisms
Relatively short, even for a dwarf, Fikrana is stocky with deep brown skin and long curly black hair tied back with a bronze clasp. She is almost always found wearing her leather apron which has a myriad of pockets filled with different tools and fasteners. She has a red facial tattoo that denotes her of the Dhan Bholdar clan from the isle of Lost Hope. Fikrana can be brusque and is slightly obsessive about tidyness and keeping things clean and in a good state of repair.Notable Achievements
Fikrana is an incredibly skilled craftswoman. It is said that she once saved a ship she was sailing on by repairing it's battle-damaged masts with those of a sunken vessel nearby. Through a cunningly-devised and improvised series of pulleys and hooks she raised the sunken masts and lashed them to the remains of her own ship's.
