Zunik

The folklore of the Daorhu speaks of ten Caranadu which were created and given Vojûnic life to combat the Karthuulites.   What survived of Zunik was maintained in the vessel of a book, which was all that could be immediately acquired for the purpose. The difficulty beyond his obvious physical limitations was Vojûn. Gwazkerrag are kept alive with its constant infusion within their body. Without it, Zunik would fade into nonexistence. Ai brought him to Gorudodoreiku, where the Axokari and their people reigned, and requested his salvation. The Axodraharik accepted this request, for the Aiyalar were close allies with them against the Qazunari of the ancient times. A chamber was built for him beneath the grounds of the Gorudodoreiku valley, allowing Vojûn to manifest thereabouts. At the center was a small stone pillar, not higher than a common mortal, which was empowered with Vojûn to draw forth further power. This kept Zunik alive for centuries while Yor’nuwan and Yor’shagon matured above him. Meanwhile, Ai began to devise a means to create a new Caranadu body for Zunik. Scale was the problem. Crafting a husk meant for the occupancy of Vojûnic essense was long lost to the Daorhu after the death of Naordu, as it was a specific and highly technical process unlike anything else in Qadal.   Zunik returned to relevancy in the early 3000s, when Nyremesh returned from his centuries of exile after defeat against Orduza and Syhlshei.
