The Rising Outer Belt
Qadal’s calamitous Wandering Era did more than confuse its relationship with Voryndal and Vussalas, but undermine the dynamics of its own continents. For untold centuries, the spearhead of history was the Middle Belt- Everos, Othos, and Etal. The newest technologies were developed thereabout; new philosophies and intellectual breakthroughs were inevitably originated there; and economic prosperity flourished along the Wolonorends. Not even disasters such as the Great Conflict halted the upward trajectory of the Middle Belt. However, the Corgastodmar Ghetunbalastod and Corgastor perished, the Eurobasar Tresivar was broken, and Etals ancient dynasty overthrown in short order. The constructions founded on Eshanic guidance were toppled, and no such Eshanic guidance remained to rebuild the miserable ruins. Now the Outer Belt nations, built through strife and hard labors, began to gather momentum. New powers were rising, bringing the old masters to heel.
In Neyas, the Eshanic born realm of Yor’shagon was replaced by a Rekayan which represented its peoples equally. Yet, no great wars accompanied this transition, for it was born of the Eshan themselves. This meant that the foundations were sturdy, yet the civilization’s super-structure was rebuilt along more modern lines. Axodraharik, Elivas, and Aemar were able to work, speak, and think in concert, which was unprecedent in all other nations.
For the peoples of Gisuvollos, the children of Ullum established final dominion over the Aebastodmar, who were themselves weakened after Aebaster’s death in 3451. This brought the whole continent under the coherent command of a single master. Coherent growth became the norm, and the whole region flourished under the careful guidance of an Ebal’eshanic master.
The Adashi in the south remained subject to the Etayen, returned to bondage by the Unain dynasty in the 3400s. Yet the neighboring reaches of Homrehas remained free, and with that freedom came opportunity. Southern peoples were able to escape the clutches of the Middle Belt among the islands, bring with them wealth and population, enriching the fragmented masters of Homrehas. This appeared as little in the first years, but after some decades, around the 3550s we shall say, the realm of Seymenasi was an impoverished puppet state while Homrehas grew greater.
