Nemgorotir in Voryndal

Just as the effects of Vojûnic power made themselves manifest and known in Voryndal, so did its direst byproducts- Nemgorotir, or “those made from nothing” in the tongue of the Etayen. These beings were sentinent entities spawned from significant concentrations of naturally occurring or artificially gathered Vojûnic energy. Brought into infantile life, the Nemgorotir possessed the powerful bodies of mature beings, capable of slaughter and havoc, yet with no knowledge, guidance, morals, nor interests. Over the course of a whirl-wind few weeks, all of these mental facilities, grown over years among common olûndi, were developed in the Nemgorotir. This means that violence, cruelty, or chaos profoundly influenced these impressionable minds. Alike, kindness or wisdom were significant dictators of future behavior. Once such a personality was engrained, it was near impossible to unlearn. A corrupted Nemgorotir born into violence was then settled upon violence for its life and might only be stopped through death. Another who is better acclimated to society might be do harm, no matter how bitterly provoked, for its brief upbringing shunned violence.   The first of the Nemgorotir in Voryndal were observed in the decades after Atûn’s death, much later than in Qadal where Vojûnic power broke out strongest. A small number among the Ebal’eshan were privy of Atûn’s craftworks and therefore foresaw the creation of such strange beasts in Voryndal. Other Eshan were utterly ignorant and treated the Nemgorotir with great disdain as agents of some unknown cause or malice.   In the years before the arrival of Persetir into Voryndal, being materially crafted beings given Vojûnic life, the Nemgorotir were greatest in popularity for military or intrigue purposes.   The arrival of the Persetir into Esha, alluded to previously, changed the role of Nemgorotir.
