Killia
She was the daughter of the famous Etayen warrior Sekoras Ikarit, one among the venerated Old Guard. In her young years she joined an organization called the Blood of Atun who claimed that they could speak directly with Atun, and that he bid that all to prepare a journey to a realm in Kasteries called the new country that would serve as a new Etal for them. She became quite close to them, which would be important later along in her story.
The more immediate issue for the Ikarit family was the change of power between the hereditary Etayen master and a new, religiously zealous librarian who took over the throne. Their family was disgraced in the ensuing turmoil, and they were compelled to live beyond the normal Etayen bounds. As an attempt to get back into good graces they agreed to deliver a box from outside the city to a contact inside of the new government. This story is written elsewhere, and I shall NOT spend the time to entirely recount the business here. Suffice to that the item was a lens meant to hone Eshanic power to manifest this “New Country” as a greater reality, and ideally in the process bring back Atun. Brave souls stood to spot it, but Killia was the bravest. She placed herself in the harm of that machine and much like later Vulred Jequasghal, she was destroyed and remade in Eshanic power, different but in many ways the same. It was in this way she joined the ranks of the Innocent Eshan alongside Dyap and few others.
