Calopor and Hemhelos
During the early years of the -6000s, Acolitus came forth to asser dominion over Voryndal. He desired to silence the chaos which reigned in that region and bring supreme justice. Most among the weary Ebal’eshan were eager to hear his reason, but a minority were determined to resist. Foremost and famous among this splinter are Calopor and Hemhelos. Both witnessed the terrors of the First Feud, and disdained the concept of direct ruler by Acolitus, who was notorious for impeding Eshanic rights. They stood against the Creator, bidding that others join them. Yet, in the weakness which was universal in that era, none came to their assistance. Acolitus was eager to assert his dominance and unleashed the hordes of his new realm against these dissidents.
The unfortunate pair of Calopor and Hemhelos are remembered as martyrs of Eshanic freedom. On any occasion wherein the authority of Acolitus was challenged, their names were recalled. Zewilir did such during his great rebellion which nearly destroyed Koluthollas, as did the Qazunari after their return in the 1400s. Later still, Eshan remembered their sacrifice after Zarthum’s rampage in the 3450s, vindicating the beliefs of the pair that Acolitus could not be trusted to rule.
