Avrid Lector

As a warrior of this curious age, Avrid was compelled to stand against terrible and uncertain things. Chief were the Yrd, which grew as olundi flesh molded as floral matter in hideous dissonance. He fought them in Eroyther, where their grove was found, and suffered horrible trauma in those battles.   After Rakiel’s death at Tyrenais’ hands, Avrid was chosen as the successor champion. This was strange, for it appeared Mesian herself sanctioned the decision, whereas the Mesianic gathering had no opinion upon the matter as before.
