Art of Eshanic Cryptology

A matter not often considered among olundi in Qadal is how Eshanic might communicate with one another without intervention, or how olundi in Voryndal might communicate without rival Eshan listening into conversations. The answer is the noble and esoteric art of Eshanic Cryptology, wherein the mental language of prayer is obscured by a layer of veiled language. This was paramount in a realm wherein Eshan pushed too often for influence and advantage in an over-populated field.     The result was a dizzyingly complex game of encryption and decryption, betrayals and missteps, such that conversation with Eshan, once a common right and practice among olundi, became the purview of a small cadre of educated elites among a given people. Only they could understand the various codes and counter-codes required to speak the sheltered language of Eshan without discovery.
