Argathos

The Eshan Argathos was among the many Eshan who suffered amidst the competition which existed in Voryndal under Koluthollas. His race was targeted for destruction by siblings in Solemilis, so that their civilization was reduced to destitution.   For all this, Argathos’ own ambitious and failures were the cause of his doom. Starting in -4231, he began deploying armies of foreigners and Etayen outcasts to wage wars against the tribes around Argathollos. The existence of foreigners in Etal and the obvious wars against his people turned Atûn against Argathollos. Tribesmen from throughout the continent migrated to the southeast to destroy these interlopers per the commandment of their master. If this were not sufficient terror, the foreigners who waged these wars for Argathos turned against him, slaughtering the Agepid with the same weapons handed to them. Chaos reigned as the faith of his crumbled. In a final act of weakness, Argathos abandoned Argathollas and returned to Agepidos, yet found that place was also ruined while he was away. In dismal depression, he collapsed upon the beach and there died.
