Plan your writing schedule:

Minimum of 30 minutes of writing after work on weekdays and an hr a day on the weekends. I should be able to make it in that time.

What are the people in your world like?

Most of the people are ordinary people you'd meet in any small town. Hosts in restaurants that don't seem to make enough money to be this large. Retail workers who watch you like they can sense you don't belong. Old ladies who know your name the day you move in. A homeless man who looks older than the town itself. A child who watches you like he knows your worst crimes and thinks they're funny.

Do some prewriting research:

Small town living. What's the general speed people move at? What's usually found in one? How is the lifestyle different from, say, a medium-sized city?
