Mages in Adelan view themselves as above the profession, as they believe it to dirty the prestige of magic by involving it with a filthy and lowly profession such as blacksmithing, viewing it as the plebeian version Enchanting . However, magic smithery is one of the most underrated magic-related profession. On its own, weapons made with magic smithery can rival some enchanted weapons. When combining magic smithery and enchanting, one can make truly impressive weapons, as the Astral Energy makes the weapon resilient enough to withstand more powerful enchantments than ordinary weapons. Moreover, the effects of an enchantment will have superior effects on a magic smithed weapon.
